More than all right on night
Manawatu Standard
Twelve months ago, Kane Parsons came to our attention with this homage to Danish comic pianist Victor Borge.

Last night, he presented a fully fleshed presentation of this show, including 45 members of the Manawatu Sinfonia and the Manawatu Youth Orchestra conducted by Peter Ellery.

The show has grown considerably over the year. While much of Borge’s material remains, including the popular Inflationary Language and Phonetic Punctuation sketches, the programme has been brought up to date and includes sketches such as the top nine Olympic commentator gaffes.

Of course, the music remains important.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening from a very talented and imaginative musician.
